Preparation of Ksharasutra

Applications of Ksharasutra Therapy
In Fistula-in-ano
Under local or spinal anesthesia, a flexible probe is inserted into the fistula tract, carrying the Ksharasutra. The thread is replaced weekly until the tract is fully healed.
In Hemorrhoids
The pile mass is gripped and transfixation is performed using Ksharasutra, causing ischemic necrosis. Healing occurs within 10-15 days.
In Pilonidal Sinus
A flexible probe carrying Ksharasutra is inserted through the sinus tract. The thread is replaced weekly, allowing for gradual healing of the tract.
